Our Mission:
- To educate the public on the benefits of trees in urban environments.
- To plant trees in Jefferson Parish on public spaces that are under tree protection ordinances.
- To support ordinances that protect trees
Our Vision is to:
Integrate green infrastructure with grey infrastructure in Jefferson Parish providing, an extra layer of protection from flooding and wind damage.
Create healthier urban areas by planting trees to filter air pollutants and other toxins in the environment.
CODIFER BLVD BEAUTIFICATION PROJECT
- 15 trees were planted along Codifer Blvd in the summer of 2023. We had to wait until the summer drought was over before the planting was permitted. Now after a year in the ground, you can already see the growth of the trees. We worked with our friends at Jefferson Beautification and the Parish of Jefferson to bring this project to fruition. We will continue partnering to bring more beautficiation to our Blvds, public spaces and community.
The Cypress Tree
“Did you know the Cypress tree is one of the highest wind resistant trees?.”
Grove of Trees

Oak Tree
“Given enough space, Oak Trees can live for hundres of years. Some of the oldest oak trees in the area are located in City Park”
